• Pattern preparation using a suitable existing cover

• Cutting and sewing

• One standard zipper opening

• Overlocking of internal raw edges

• Normal sewing thread

• Basic fit checking when the existing insert is provided

Fabric, zippers, piping cord, inner-cover fabric and other materials are not included unless stated in the quotation.

Inner Insert Covers

A separate inner cover can be sewn around your existing foam or cushion insert.

An inner cover helps contain loose filling, protects the insert and makes it easier to place inside the removable outer cover. It does not repair, reshape or restore worn or deteriorating foam.

 

What to Provide for a Quotation

Please send:

• Clear photographs of the front, back and sides of each cushion

• Length, width and thickness

• Number of covers required

• Photographs of the existing zipper, piping and seams

• Photograph and details of your chosen fabric

• Fabric width and available quantity

• Details of any stripes, checks, motifs or directional patterns

• Whether piping or an inner insert cover is required

An estimated quotation can be provided from photographs and measurements. The final price is confirmed after the actual covers, inserts and fabric have been inspected.

• The final charge depends on the size, shape, thickness, construction, fabric and finishing required.

• For the best fit, please provide both the existing cover and its corresponding cushion insert.

• A minimum sewing charge of $50 per order applies.
